Getting Down & Dirty with Amber

Simple isn't the word most people would choose to describe another person, but when referring to Amber it simply fits! Amber is a great person to get to know. "I like to think that I am a fun person. Family means everything to me." If that's not the kind of person you'd want to befriend, then what is? Amber is currently a sophomore at Virginia Tech studying Animal Science.

 

When asked to describe herself Amber said, "I'm simple, not scared to get dirty, not scared to try new things".

Optimistic or Pessimistic: Optimistic

Her idea of a perfect day: "Going to the rodeo with my little sister."

What she does for fun: "Four-wheeling, mudding, going to rodeos."

Her goals in life: "Have a family on a farm, working with animals."

Motto: "Live life like it's your last."

What she does for her community: Worked with Habitat for Humanity.

Family: Amber is the oldest of five children; she has two sisters and two brothers. She is very family oriented.

What do you call home?: "Where my family is. My favorite place in the world
is in Chase City, Va where my grandma and grandpa live on 5 acres in the
country."

Where do you want to be in the next 6 to 7 years?: "I want to be married
with kids and an education. I want to have my house on my farm with all our
animals."

How have the past 4 years shaped your life?: "I have learned what I truly
want in life and what is most important to me."

Do you have any regrets at all in life so far?: "I have always lived
my life with no regrets. I don't think living a life with regrets is a good way to
live."

Here's what her roommate has to say about her.

If someone was going through your phone and saw Amber's name and asked
who she was, what would be your immediate response?: "One of my best friends"

Did you choose Amber as your roommate? If so why? If you had a choice
would you choose Amber, why?: "Yes, I chose Amber. She's a really good friend, and I figured we  
wouldn't have any roommate issues."

What kind of person do you consider Amber to be?: "Dependable, loving, caring, funny"

Do you feel she is a trustworthy person?: "Yes"

If you had a problem, would you go to Amber for help? Why or why not?: "Yes, I trust her opinion and I know she would help me any way she  could."

Does Amber have any bad habits that get on your nerves?: "No"

Do you think Amber is passionate about what she is  studying?: "Yes"

 

Amber is definitely a person you should want to learn more about. She has the type of personality that draws you in. Knowing that the future of our animals are going to be in the hands of Amber should comfort us all.
